Creative Fantasy Portrait Workshop Feb 2020
So we recently held the first workshop for 2020, at our new home away from home in Abbottsford. After a few hot and humid days and so much rain, the day of the workshop was just perfect, not too hot and no rain. Our new studio space was full of beautiful natural light, which allowed us to capture some stunning images. We also got outside and captured some of the nearby bluestone buildings and waterfront as well.
Our models for the day were Jess Ami (Miss Fairy Floss) and newcomer Alexia Frost, dressed firstly as our Fairy Princess and Ice Princess. The amazing headpieces were supplied by Bec from Verdessa Fairy and they were totally amazing. The SteamPunk costumes and props were all from my Costume wardrobe and styled by me, the Ice Princess cloak was also from Verdessa Fairy, I created the Fairy skirt and wand.
We had four scenes setup with various backdrops and we had two groups, each with four photographers, we then kept switching models and backdrops, then near the end, all trooped outside to capture the girls together. I am so pleased with how this workshop went, the models both looked amazing, which is so gratifying after all the hard work. By the looks of the images everyone took, they all had a wonderful time and captured some truly wonderful images, I’ll put up a gallery below. PS These are just some of the images captured by the participants of the workshop. My images can be seen on my website.
Thank you so much, everyone who came, this workshop sold out so quick, but if you are interested in attending any of my classes, please sign up for my VIP email list for notifications, or visit my Workshop Page.
