Cull images faster than ever in Capture One 23

Cull images faster than ever in Capture One 23

Sort your images and make your selections faster with dedicated functions developed specifically for culling with the brand-new Capture One 23. View, rate, tag, and browse with zero delays and get an easy overview of similar images for a faster selection. The new functionality is available both from the Importer and the new dedicated cull view.

Overview

Designed with high-volume photographers in mind, the new culling feature is making it faster and far less time-consuming to find the best shots.
These new features are available both in the Importer and the cull view;

  • Zero-delay browsing (no preview generation needed)

  • Group view of similar images

  • Star rate and color tag

  • Zoom to 100%

  • Filtering

  • Change Capture Time

On Import

You can still import with the standard Import button, but you can switch between Grid and Viewer mode; rate, star and color code images on import. You can even select Group Overview and enable groups by similarity. Zoom in and check images without waiting for preview.

New Cull feature

On existing folders (or new ones) you can now select the Cull feature (top left near the import function). You can enable groupings, rate, color code, and cull images quickly in either grid view or viewer. Double-click the image to zoom in. G on the keyboard will switch between grid and viewer modes. In Grid mode, you can increase the size of the thumbnails with the slider at the top.

Now culling, rating and sorting your images in Capture One have never been easier. So, if you love Capture One and shoot loads of images (like me), you’re going to love this new feature.
