On a roll...

July has already been such an exciting month and it just keeps getting better. Just received an email congratulating me on getting the cover and an 8-page feature in Edith Magazine! Issue 383 July 2021

Diamonds

The talented Jess (aka Miss Fairy Floss) becomes Marilyn again in this version of Diamonds are a girls’ best friend from the movie Gentlemen prefer Blondes. The hot pink dress against the red background, the layers of diamonds over diamonds…all that was missing was the men in tuxedos!

It’s so nice to see all our hard work getting some recognition. And I do mean Hard work…it may all look like fun and games (and well, truthfully it is fun). But the research we put into our shoots, colours, clothes, props and accessories, poses, themes, makeup and hair. We don’t just throw things together on a whim. It’s often months in creation. The average time from conception to studio shoot is three months! Then there is the edit and more. I love what I do, so to receive a little bit of recognition in Australia AND international, that’s a NICE Bonus.

Not sure if you remember Dr. Hook? and the song Cover of the Rolling Stone…well I haven't made it that far yet, but THAT would be cool lol.
