Sleeping Beauty Creative Portraits Workshop

One of my favourite things to do is run in-person workshops, whether in my own home studio or elsewhere. They are so much fun and I get such a kick out of seeing others achieve great results. Sometimes even I learn something new!

Recently I held the Sleeping Beauty workshop with Jesi Faun, we had several different setups, including a full queen size mattress all decked out with white netting and loads of flowers. We also had a chair by the window for soft diffused light, the seamless white backdrop and a soft grey one as well.

Shooting white, on white, on white, is quite challenging as participants learned quickly, but with a little guidance everyone was off shooting. We had such glorious Autumn weather, we mostly shot natural light and barely touched the studio lights.
