Light, Space & Time "Nature" art exhibition

Sometimes we all need a little recognition, a pat on the back to encourage us to work harder, to feel just a little bit special. I am no different. I frequently enter competitions, not for the prizes as such, but to see how I fare against other artists. Sometimes I don’t agree with the judge’s decisions and sometimes they are 100% spot on. It’s a fickle world entering competitions and exhibitions. And you can’t always take it personally.

So it’s lovely to receive emails telling me something has won an award or received Special Merit or recognition, Rainbow Lorikeet achieved 6th place in the Photography & Digital Art category.

And my Black Swan received a Special Merit. Just a straight photo, that was captured with my new Tamron 70-300mm lens recently. I adored the details I captured of the water drops and the fading light.
