This year I'm taking the show on the road and next up is Echuca Moama. This time we will be at the fabulous Foundry Arts Space for this special event.

Join me for a fun workshop and learn the Art of Still Life photography...

Whether it's dark & moody, soft & dreamy or something in between, join me for a fabulous session in the studio. Using both natural and artificial light, learn the art of beautiful Still Life images. Learn to work your light and capture incredible details. We will be working with small and intimate subjects from sumptuous food and gorgeous flowers. All items for subjects, props, lighting and staging are supplied, you only need your camera gear. However, I do encourage you to bring in a few small objects to add a personal touch to your images.

This workshop will cover the basics of lighting, staging, camera settings and styling for Still Life with topics discussed:

• Classic Still Life - Soft & Dreamy AND Dark & Moody

• Get off Auto - get confident in Manual and Aperture Priority Modes

• Artificial & Subtle Natural Lighting - learn to harness the light, with constant and flash.

Requirements:

• DSLR camera or Mirrorless camera, as long as you can change lenses. Also, bringing your manual is a good idea if you aren't overly familiar with your camera.

• a 35-50mm lens or 24-70mm is suitable (macro is good too)

• tripod (a must)

• remote shutter release (wireless or cabled) - optional

• spare battery & SD Cards.

All classes are small and very hands-on learning.
