I adore doing fantasy/fairytale-themed photoshoots. I recently did an Aladdin/I dream of Jeannie-inspired portrait session, with harem pants, belly dancer outfits, Turkish rugs and hookah pipes — the whole bit. So much fun. I also have this fabulous little wooden treasure chest which is perfect for making a little bit of magic happen.
Finding inspiration is so simple that even your kids can do it. Literally, kids do it all the time. People are always telling me they struggle to come up with creative ideas to shoot. It’s one problem I rarely have. I think it all comes down to the way you think.
I recently had a couples photoshoot, we wanted something a little out of the box. Jess was a RockaBilly model and has shot some cool 1950s vibes with me before, but this time her partner Daniel was joining her in the studio.
